I freely admit I'm a better character artist than a vehicle/equipment artist. I've given some consideration to trying again on the ECTO-1 (and all it's variants) and may do so.
Or I may use a good black and white line drawing of the ECTO-1 I found in the West End game books (the first edition, in fact) and modify that as necessary.
I just gotta get the inclination.

Oh, well, sensitive people like you will always have a better feel for characters than machines. (Y'know, personally, I'm much more interested by the former than the latter.)

Me too. I think it’s probably a girl thing. I could never really get into the excitement over the vehicles. As long as Ecto 1 looked like a white and red converted ambulance/hearse/whatever it is and the proton packs, throwers and traps looked good, I really wasn’t too bothered.
Even though I never really took to any other vehicle for the guys apart from good old Ecto 1, Fritz’s design for Ecto-4 looks very cool, like something out of Star Wars. I could imagine that it would be quite difficult to get the angles and perspectives right on these things, but this Ecto-4 looks great.

It seems that people who draw are usually good at drawing one or the other... you preference is people while mine is non people art. Nothing to be ashamed of. But the important thing is, Ecto-4 rocks.

Not that I meant to imply those kind of artists were insensitive or anything. Seriously though, it all looks great, Fritz. I mean, bloody hell, you won't catch me attempting to draw anything that looks remotely like an aeroplane. BTW having a character stand next to it to give an idea of size was a nice touch.

People have been asking for a while, it seems, "When are you gonna draw the Peoplebusters?" Well, the other day I was finally inspired to do just that. www.deviantart.com/deviation/31306580/I only had the 3-D Annual available as reference at the time, so some of the small details may be off (as well as a couple I drew "wrong" intentionally, to fit my current GB style)

Ha hah! Brilliant, Fritz Shame Winston was omitted in both renditions.

I don't believe I've seen that episode, or if I did it was many years ago. Oh well - great picture. I like the Darwinian Ray. Interesting idea (whosever it was originally) - the number of essays I've had to write about ape-like characters in literature... But I digress. Venkman giving us all the finger is an interesting touch. Spur of the moment decision?

I thought about designing a Peoplebuster Winston...and who knows, maybe I'll do so yet. As for why there was no Peoplebuster Winston, well, people have been wondering about that since the episode aired. The only guess I ever came up with is they couldn't figure out how to reconcile the idea of a chalk-white undead creature and Winston's distinctly non-white color.
As for Venkman and The Finger...sorta spur of the moment, but also a bit of a nod to the way I often draw him giving a cocky thumbs-up gesture. So his evil undead counterpart is giving The Finger.

The only guess I ever came up with is they couldn't figure out how to reconcile the idea of a chalk-white undead creature and Winston's distinctly non-white color. I was going over portraying him myself as well... as part of a planned tie in when I eventually rewrote Flip Side. At the current time I'm considering doing something like having him resemble a Mummy, but the idea was to make the Peoplebusters less goofy and more legitimately scary. His removal may have also been the inability to work out the basis of the alternates. Maybe they started out with only having Peoplbuster alternates of people who wound up in Boo York... but then dropped that idea when fitting in Janine but forgot to include Winston. But, alas, it'll remain unknown and as such causes a good episode to have a huge, gaping flaw. Nice touch. Rosey: I assumed he just had a hand sewed to his ankle... but I suppose the Darwinian thing also makes a bit of sense.

It's possible there's no Peoplebusters Winston for no other reason than then the guys who ended up in Boo York would've been outnumbered...

Those were awesome, Fritz! I could imagne what peoplebuster Winston would've looked like if he was on the show. I also liked the Westcoast Divison verison as well. Keep up the good work!
