A lot of you are porbably familiar with my Ghostbusters Fan Art; well, after a pause, I've got some new pictures to show off... Well, okay, maybe they're not "new"--they're the Billy Dallas Patton inspired RGB pictures I did back in February, but this time sporting their tan outfits like in the battle with Gozer. Think of these as the GB1/"Citizen Ghost" versions of the Ghostbusters... Great stuff as always Fritz, thought, a little unusual that Doom Patrol have silver Proton Packs...that is, they look silver, anyway.
Any scoops on who you're working on or planning to do next? Any potential for Gozer or the Terror Dogs, or even good 'ole Stay Puft?

The silver packs were intentional; if you look at No-Ghost's pictures in the Doom Patrol threads, they're actually using a different pack design (one suggestion I made when they were forming was that they could be GBI's guinea pig team for new equipment; the packs worn by DP would've then been possible prototypes for the Mark 5). Well, I tried to come up with a more accurate representation of No-Ghost's design, but failed--so I just settled for using the same template I'd been using and coloring them silver/greyish. I'm not sure yet...Andy Harness has wanted me to do some stuff for "Legends of Ghostbusters"...but some of those, as well as the Anti-Ghostbusters, are awful tempting... Let's all thank Kingpin for that nifty new NOMAD logo on the art page, by the way. Glad to see you finally post over here, too. ;D

Yeah... It's weird, I don't know why it took me this long to get over here because I signed up a while ago. Ah well...I'm here now...and a Mod, thanks for such an honor seeing as I wasn't even here. Glad I could do the NOMAD logo, may do a DP one as well soon, but it's nothing special.

Yeah... It's weird, I don't know why it took me this long to get over here because I signed up a while ago. No offense taken. Since last summer GB boards have sprung up like mushrooms. One person just can't pay attention to all of them very easily anymore. I did that pretty much as soon as I saw you'd registered. You were on my list ... 2. There are about four individuals whom I picked, in my mind, as automatic Global Mods if they ever signed up here. Friends that I trust and/or pillars of the Ghostbusters community, all with experience at running message boards.

Two small additions to the art page... Kingpin had provided a revised NOMAD logo, one closer to the actual one they used. And in the "Assorted Nuisances" section... Mary Sue Gladstone!!!Yes, that's right, the character famous for being obsessed with Egon, kicking Jeremy Hicks in the face, and a lot more (upcoming in "Chronicles of Gozer") in all her, um, glory... Her resemblance to flaky b**** Flay Allster from Gundam Seed is totally intentional

Updates: Just before my recent problems, I'd completed computer coloring of the Ghostbusters of 2023, as seen in Future Shocks. Well, those pictures are now uploaded to the Ectozone Art Page. As a bit of an experiment, the pictures were saved in the .png format, which led to larger file sizes than the .jpgs, but I get better color retention (the dark blues don't splotch up like they did rendering .jpgs on my cheap photo processing software)

This does look a lot better, Fritz. I love the richer, more vivid colours, and your artwork is amazing. Are you going to re-colour any of your other characters in the same format, like Lady Delphia and Anatole Vashnivski?

Eventually I hope to have every picture computer colored. It's just slow going sometimes because I don't have the best photo processing programs--I color the pictures on MS Paint and convert them to .png or .jpg with the ULead Photo Express program bundled with my cheap scanner. Coloring on MS Paint can be tedious at times, so I tend to color in batches (Often when I have writer's block...) But I'm glad you like them.

Can't keep track of the ever-changing look of a certain red-headed secretary and love interest of a certain physicist? Maybe this will help... The Janine GalleryI've created picutres of all of Janine's incarnations, from the classic Season One (actually a previously posted picture with a different color scheme) to the Extreme Ghostbusters look (sortof) to the 2004 look in my fan fictions (slightly redrawn from before) Thanks to Spengler7 of GBHQ--his pictures of "20000 Leagues Under the Street" were vital to creating the Season Six version.

Great stuff, Fritz. Personally, I prefer the look of the season one Janine, but they all look great.

I like your pics of Janine. I can't exactly pinpoint which one is my favorite. I didn't have such a hard time with her looks changing in the show.
My problem was the voice. After a while it just didn't match the character, but that's just a whole other issue.
