Now at each of the four Ghostbusters' art pages: their "classic" civilian looks, as seen in the animation, and my concepts for their "current" looks Venkman is seen in his white sweater, and his current look shows his years in Hollywood with sunglasses and a loud Hawaiian shirt. Ray is seen in his green sweater vest, and his current look is actually inspired a little bit by both the "Fright Features" figure and Aykroyd's wardrobe in the first movie. Winston's in his black and white shirt. His current look also includes a nod to GB1, namely the grey checked shirt. Egon's in his suspenders and orange shirt. His current look is a little more formal, with a vest and tie (again, inspired a bit by the suits Ramis favored in the movies)

That's very nice Fritz! I really like the Ray outfit and he would've wore something like that anyway. Good work! And he does look good with a beard. ;D

AHH!!! It's scary beared Ray again. I will say though that Egon looks very good. He reminds me of how I think college professors should look like.

Fantastic, Fritz! ;D Your new stuff is simply great. Do you think you could get around to fixing the vehicles page in the GB fact list? No matter what computer I'm on and now matter how many times I refresh, I can never see the pics of the Ecto-1 & Ecto-1A.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
I checked and there was indeed a coding error there--actually a shortcut I used that worked fine before I purchased the ectozone.com domain name. I didn't notice it before because, due to the vagarities of the way the host servers and the editing program works, it still showed up on my editing screen.
Sorry about that problem--it should be fixed now.
It'll look even better when I finally sit down and do those computer-colored versions of the vehicles (lol)...

Been a while since I had something to put here, but here goes... New pictures of most of the cast of Extreme Ghostbusters, most notably versions of Eduardo, Roland, and Garrett tweaked to look a little bit closer to the TV show. The biggest change is the Mark 2 proton packs, but there are other, smaller changes (ie I redrew Roland's face slightly to make his jawline more accurate, Eduardo is in his bell bottoms and cowboy boots) Per some of the GBOT EGB continuity we established in Dreams Reborn Garrett and Roland don't have nametags in the 1997 versions. And I redid their pant legs to fit the more "movieish" look I'd adopted since the pictures were first drawn--Roland's are tucked in, Garrett's aren't ala Venkman (well, it's not like Garrett has to worry about tripping, right?) Like Roland's face, these two changes were made to the "current" version also. Roland and Garrett's GBNY pages have been updated to use the revised pictures. I also added 1997 versions of Egon and Janine (n Mark 2 Proton Packs), which have also been added to their gallery pages.

Kinda reminds me of a spot-the-difference puzzle. (Yes, I did spot the differences - I've been known to be unobservant, but I'm not blind.) Cool. Why can't I draw? Hey - you know what you should do next? More EGB stories.

Pretty cool Fritz, always a big fan on self improvement.
What's the word on people like the Mayor? Or Officer Frump?

Hm...interesting thought...
1. I've got an EGB story in my hopper, but it's going to have to wait until I at least get "Con-Fusion" done, and possibly "Act Two, Part 2"
2. I'll get some of the lesser characters done if the whim strikes me...it just hasn't yet. Every once in a while I consider doing Gozer or Vigo (one based off the "RGB Vigo" in the GB2 adaptation) but then something else comes along that sounds more interesting. I dunno...
I guess it's a good thing I don't *have* to do any of this (ie for a living and money)

www.deviantart.com/deviation/23294443/I was sort of tinkering around a few weeks ago (in conjunction with something you'llb e seeing soon) and put together this picture I call "Ghostbusters #0" There will be a series labelled #1-#7 coming shortly... I drew Ray, Egon, and Venkman in the same poses as Aykroyd, Ramis, and Murray had in one of the famous Gb1 promo pictures (though of course they're in the animated likenesses). I added Janine, Winston, Dana, and Louis at the bottom, taken from the profile pictures I use at various places on my site. Composited it all together into a comic book cover type format (complete with upc box lol) The picture used for the main part is a couple of years old, which is why you might notice some of the more RGB-style details on the equipment. And all are wearing the tan suits they would've been in Gb1 (and Winston has his mustache)--think of this as, if somebody'd ever done an RGB style adaptation of GB1 (the way Now did for Gb2), this could've been a cover for it.

Okay, now you've got interest piqued.
You're being that type of sneakiness which makes me wish I had a broadband connection to your brain.
"I fear you are undestimating the sneakiness, sir."

It really hurts to not be able to post these deviantart links on GBHQ...but She Who Will Not Be Named goes there and I really don't want to deal with the hellfire and thundration if she sees the piece called "At Rest"... Er, anyway... www.deviantart.com/deviation/23591364/Continuing the series of mock comic covers, this one being a companion piece to Ghostbusters No.0--Ghostbusters 2 No.0. Of course, there really was a GB2 comic (Now adapted it into three issues when the movie came out)...but my picture, like the GB1 one, uses the actual movie poster as inspiration for the character poses. I used to use a marker-colored version of the main picture on the main page of my website, and it's currently on the GB Reference page ( www.ectozone.com/omnibus.html ) though in the computer colored version I've tweaked some of the details to make the drawing fit more into my current style (ie Egon with a nametag) Janine, Dana, and Louis are represented, as they were in the GB1 drawing, by profile pictures...Dana and Louis, in fact, by the exact same ones (what can I say? They still work. It was Now's GB2 adaptation that introduced the RGB style Dana) though Janine is shown in her GB2 Full Hooker Action look. Next week will be "Ghostbusters No.1"...and a drawing that I know only a very few people have seen before...
