June is fast approaching. As we all know, Ghostbusters will be turning 22. GB2 will be 17. Later this year, RGB will be turning the big 2-0 and EGB gets one year closer to a decade. Leave us not forget the comic series which will be reaching the voting age of 18. With so many years gone by, NYGB Comicguide has decided to celebrate them all this year. How you ask? Very simple. In June, the month that started it all, we'll reprint FOUR comic tales of YOUR choosing. That's right. Four stories in their entirety to read and enjoy on the web. So how are these stories going to get chosen? Very simple. Head on over to the NYGB Comicguide and browse though our hundreds of GB comics. Then, come back here and nominate the five stories* you want to see. It could be your favorite tales, it could be one you never read before. Hell, it could be one you never even heard of and are curious about. The sky's the limit. The nominations will be accepted through mid-April where a poll will be established with the top picks. From then until mid-May, you can all vote for the one issue from the list you'd like to see. Top four selections get reprinted each week of June on Wednesday. So get those nominations in! *NOTE: For issues with multiple stories please only pick an individual story. Multiple can be picked from one issue up to the five selection limit. For Marvel UK issues, please remember each issue has a prose story. You can tell which one they'd be by seeing which story has one or two credits missing on their pages.

Cool! I'm excited to be a part of this! It was hard to just pick four. So I picked a few favs, and a few that are good for the omnibus.
These are all NOW comics volume 1: #19- The Toad Island story #22 #28 and GBII #3
yay! ghostdiva

I’d like to nominate:
NOW #14 “The Lost and the Lonely” NOW #15 “Spike Part 1” NOW #16 “The Land Unknown Part 2” NOW #19 “Zoned Out” (it seems that there are four different stories in this one, so I’d like to read the one where Egon and Janine take Shannon to the circus) NOW #28 “Hat Trick”, all from NOW comics volume 1.
Most of these I've never read before, so seeing any one of them would be really great.

#28. Definitely seconding or thirding or whatever the nomination of this one. #9, #10, #11 I'm not sure whether this would be one nomination or three, but "The Father Thing Trilogy" has been considered possibly the best story Now ran. It was moody, intense, and the artwork on #10 was one of the very best of the series: it was Susanne Dechnik's first issue as colorist, and the jump in color quality was mind blowing (in 1989 anyway.) I used the character of Shannon Phillips in "Zodiac Imperative", and I definitely have plans for the slimy necromancer Mister Blaque. #17 "Chanted Evening" Definitely the second best Samhaine story--no f***ing Junior Ghostbusters. Sure, Louis makes his only appearance in the main RGB series, but James Van Hise continues the "Harold Ramis Is Out Of His Mind" theme started the previous issue by having Janine with her arms around Egon at the end. And if the three part story counts as only one nomination, add these two: #12 I loved the giant cockroaches ("Man, I ain't never seen on in a suit before. Except maybe my landlord.") and Phineus Eventide. Even though I, er kill him off in "Zodiac Imperative"... #22 "Wild In The Streets". Janine gets a great moment or two, where she gets to "kick sass" and wears, this one time only, the flight suit in Egon's blue but with orange trim--the one I still draw her in to this day. Honorable Mention: #16 "The Land Unknown". Yeah, a great shipper moment--the first direct veto of GB2 ("Louis is sweet, but he's harmless") Now if only the artwork wasn't so sloppy looking, it might have ranked higher.

As I said on HQ, 9-11 would be three. I know technically they're ONE story, but I hafta draw limits somewhere.

So far we've gotten a good response, but we're looking for more! C'mon, Ghostheads, help us celebrate RGB's 20th!

I still wish you'd just give in and have the scans of ALL the comics available to read... ;D

Heh unfortunately, the goal is to celebrate and perhaps inspire people to buy...NOT to drag down a bigger lawsuit than the one I'm gonna be asking for.

Yes, but where can people buy? They're out of print.

I have several retailers listed on the site (surprisingly, in the RETAILER section) and there's always Ebay which has upwards of 300 GB comics daily on there.

Well, nothing's winning yet...the votes haven't actually started yet. But we do have quite a few making the final tally. I'm probably gonna cut out the issues with one nomination.
