Venkman's collar/cuff color...???

Er...am I the only one that always assumed Peter's collar and cuffs were of a dark green? I saw Fritz' drawing above on DA, and scratched my head a bit. Then I got the new DVDs and saw the cartoons on there. Seeing it again, I could see the blue there - I think! But somehow my brain was still screaming GREEN, so I couldn't tell for sure. Maybe I'm just going colorblind....!

I noticed blue, too. Probably an animator's screw-up, as Peter's collar/cuffs were always, I thought, supposed to be emerald green, like his eyes. At least all the fanfic descriptions of it say that...That's what I saw on TV, too. Green.

I admit, maybe because of the way our TV was tuned, I always saw blue and that's what I always used. I saw green in the comics and other places, but my brain has always screamed "blue". Maybe green was intended (like Rose said, to match his eyes) but I've always thought of it as fairly blue.

I've tried to compromise some in the fan fics with descriptions of "blueish green" or such. But at the end of the day I keep coloring it blue (lol)

I always thought it was green too, but your tv picture could change something like that. Besides, the green make Peter's outfit in Legion an RGB reference, but if we all decide the color is really blue then we loose a reference and we don't want that now do we? (Just kidding)

It's been a subject of much debate that's never been totally resolved... it could even be because of the paint consistency, the best way would be to take, say, ten episodes (Or five if it's easier), and see which colour occurs more, then say 'that's the official colour'.

It's always been green to me. When I was watching Last Train to Oblivion recently Peter is wearing a dark blue cap and his unifom's trimming is clearly a different colour and certainly not blue.
