I have to say I'm pretty indifferent towards Peter/Dana. I don't know, I just never got the vibe while watching the movie that they should be together, forever. I kind of like the idea of Peter not settling down until he's about 50 or so. I kind of like the idea of a greying middle-aged Venkman trying to chat up woman half his age.

Wouldn't that idea be just a little disturbing? "Hey honey, fancy some action?" "Ew! You're old enough to be my father!" "Did you father save the world and bust ghosts for a living?" And for effect. "Yes... he was your friend, Egon Spengler!"

Chicks dig older guys. Dunno why, they just do. Although that doesn't mean I'll be taking a shot at some 24-year-old when I'm 50. Hell, I feel like a craddle robber with my wife and that's only a 3-year difference right there. It's surreal to think when I was walking and talking she was in diapers... Um, what were we talking about again?

It's kinda true, I dig older guys, to a point. I cap off at 35 though. Ewwwww!!!!! I'm very sure Peter would obtain uncle status with Egon's kids and then that would be creepy. However if you are refering to a certain story, then that comment was funny ghostdiva

I found a great song for these two (in my opinion). It's called "Beautiful Disaster" by Kelly Clarkson: He drowns in his dreams An exquisite extreme I know He’s as damned as he seems And more heaven than a heart could hold And if I try to save him My whole world would cave in Lord, it just ain't right Lord, it just ain't right
Oh and I don't know I don't know what he's after But he's so beautiful Such a beautiful disaster And if I could hold on Through the tears and the laughter Would it be beautiful? Or just a beautiful disaster
He's magic and myth As strong as what I believe A tragedy with More damage than a soul should see And do I try to change him So hard not to blame him Hold me tight Baby, hold me tight
Oh 'cause I don't know I don't know what he's after But he’s so beautiful Such a beautiful disaster And if I could hold on Through the tears and the laughter Would it be beautiful? Or just a beautiful disaster
I'm longing for love and the logical But he's only happy hysterical I'm searching for some kind of miracle Waited so long So long
He’s soft to the touch But frayed at the end he breaks He’s never enough And still he's more than I can take Oh 'cause I don't know I don't know what he's after But he's so beautiful Such a beautiful disaster And if I could hold on Through the tears and the laughter Would it be beautiful? Or just a beautiful disaster
He’s beautiful He's such a beautiful disaster

Didn't he try to hit on Eden in Future Shocks? Of course, he didn't know that was Egon's grown-up daughter, but still...

Heh, heh, heh....well, I think I had slightly in mind an old Sheila Paulson fic where Charlie got married to this spirit channeler who was about five years younger than Peter. That's what, about a 40-year age difference? Okay, okay, extreme example, I know...
