You may need to move this to the fiction section. But I noticed there was no thread to discuss future stories and ideas, or a thread for future plot spoilers. So as you may have guessed, i want spoilers. Specificly concerning the stories Forever and Gemini Rising, as listed on the fanfictions page. I was just wondering if those stories were coming out anytime soon or are those stories to be completed after all other stories you plan to write are written or what. I have been interested in those particular stories since I first caught wind of them.

"Forever" and "Gemini Rising" are two stories I look forward to writing; they're major pay-off for both the Egon/Janine romance and some of my own subplots I've been weaving into the narrative. But because they pay off some of my own subplots as well, I will have to finish "Zodiac Imperative" and at least one other story ("Nodus", set in 1993) before I can do those two. I've got both of those stories plotted (and even some individual passages written) "Forever" will be a tale of triumph over fifteen years of adversity. "Gemini Rising"...well, frankly, I've got a plot twist in store for that one that will make some people's heads hurt. I'm sorry this is all happening so slowly, but I hope I can make it worth the wait.

Hey Fritz, I was doing some reading for my literature class and came across a few lines in a story that I just couldn't help but parallel to what I would think Janine's wedding vows to Egon might be, I know I really have a one track mind! Feel free to use this if you want, it would certainly make my day, or at the very least I felt that you would appreciate the words.
The following is from the ancient story The Ramayana. A "wife alone shares the life of her husband. To a woman, neither father nor son nor mother nor friends but the husband alone is her sole refuge here in this world and in other worlds, too. Hence I shall accompany you. Life with the husband is incomparably superior to life in a palace, or an aerial mansion, or a trip to heaven. With you [life] will be more than heaven to me. It will not be the least hardship to me; [for] without you even heaven is hell."
Anyway I just thought it was great, in the story a wife is explaining to her husband how willing she is to go to the ends of the earth for him, if you were wondering. I am not trying to imply that I am just talking to Fritz anyone elde who would like to comment please feel free! ghostdiva

Writing "Forever" is still a ways off, but I'll certainly keep this in mind.

This passage is a lovely piece, and I agree with Fritz that it definitely reflects Janine's feelings for Egon. Writing "Forever" is still a ways off, but I'll certainly keep this in mind. I can't wait to read this story, Fritz. I'd love to read more Egon/Janine fiction from you. You write the pairing so beautifully.

"Forever" is still a ways off, but I have an important E/J event coming up in "Dreams Reborn"--it's a collaboration with EGB Fan and Kingpin, and I think everyone is going to be pleased with the results...

This seems to be a day for compliments. A guy in my literature class I've never spoken to before just told me I'm really clever and now this. Ghostdiva, as I said to the guy in my class: Thanks, it's very sweet of you to think so. Actually I happen to think that particular story is looking pretty good. And Ben, you must write lots lots more if you want to!

Yay! I look forward to reading this one, guys. I'm a sucker for anything Egon/Janine at the moment.

Hey Fritz, I was just curious as to what your current projects are. What type of story will you be posting next? I like to keep a list of things to look forward to. ghostdiva

Probably the next story that will come out is "Dreams Reborn"--I'm not doing all the work on that one. Well, heck, Rosey's once again doing most of the actual writing. I need to write a scene or two, and one of us has to hash out a climax, but it's coming along nicely.
Much material exists for "Chronicles of Gozer", but as the editing and preparation for release is not totally in my hands, at this moment I have no idea when Book 3 will come out.
The next "totally mine" story will probably be "Zodiac Imperative Part 4"...which may or may not be the conclusion--it depends on how much of a groove I get into with it.

Dare I suggest that the news of my writer's block isn't entirely unwelcome? I was thinking about the climax recently but I kinda think if I'm going to do it at all well (though at this rate you might well get in first, Fritz) I'd need the whole story in some sort of linear order. But anyway, I agree that it's looking good. I'm much too competitive for my own good - I think on some level I've been squeezing as much as possible out of my pet love interest so it doesn't get overshadowed by Fritz's excellent work on Egon and Janine.

Pet love interest, interesting, very interesting, wait is this an EGB story? If so I think I might know who it is! Yeah now I am excited, I know it's sad, but what can I say. Can't wait.
Also very glad to here that Zodiac is being continued soon, its a great story so far. ghostdiva
