I apologize for how long all these stories are taking...between Real Life and an RPG campaign Al and I're running with a friend of ours (one of those old-style pen, paper, books, and dice types) I've been slow with the GB stories lately. It's just been easier to do space opera where people swing around plasma sabers since, oh, May for some reason...
Anyway, I was inspired by meeting Belmont and some of the other GBI guys in person at GenCon over the weekend, and will hopefully have a relatively short story with some of our ficitional counterparts in it out soon.

"Con-Fusion" is a GBI story based on GenCon in August. It's done, but Vincent Belmont asked for some revisions, and it will be posted either in about a week, or I get the revisions done and approved, whichever happens last.
"Act Two, Part 2" is finally well under way--it should probably be the very next thing after "Con-Fusion"
Now, for those of you who don't care about the franchise stories, "Hearts In Eclipse" is listed as an EGB story, though features some important developments in regard to some to the original Ghostbusters. I've gotten a good bit of work done on that recently, but at this point I'm not sure whether I'll release it in chunks as I finish a certain amount at a time, or wait until I get it finish, divide it up, and then release it (ie "Shadow of the Inquisitors" or "Dreams Reborn")

I think you ought to release the first part of "Hearts in Eclipse"... now. ;D
Seriously - looking forward to it. Really looking forward to it. Even I haven't been able to come up with a new EGB story recently (and it's killing me).

Okay, here's the update... "Ghostbusters: Forever" is done. But you're going to have to wait until "Extreme Ghostbusters: Hearts In Eclipse" is ready first. Work is moving along on that one; as I mentioned before, I theoretically have enough to release a chapter or two's worth, but right now I'm still leaning toward waiting until it's all done. At that time I'll either break it up or do something I haven't done since "Future Shocks", namely release a big story all at once (I will definitely be releasing "Forever" as one big story, but it deserves it) "Act Two" is complete and out--not that I seem to have drawn much comment on it... "Where In the World Is Chelsea Aberdeen?" is also in progress. It's part of the transition story between the "old" GBWC and the "new" one. It's been both really easy and really difficult to write because it's definitely the most autobiographical piece I've ever done--as you could probably guess from the title, the fictional version of Fritz Baugh is at the center of things. This one will run mulitple parts, and include guest appearances from a couple of GBI stalwarts--and I'll put out a chapter as soon as I have enough material to do so, I think. I hope everyone's been keeping up with things over at my Deviantart page--I put a lot of work into those pictures, and think they came out great. ectozone.deviantart.comThank you all for your patient and continued support.

Aaaaaahhhhhhhh! For some reason that makes me very nervous, or is it excited? Maybe just giddy, I don't know. All I can say is AAAAAHHHHHH. I see you have been busy writing a lot, so have I, but you wouldn't be interested unless you wanted to open a hospital.lol I wish you would give just a general plot about Hearts in Eclipse, I'm looking forward to it and I have no idea what it's about. I'm really excited about these stories, and because you updated us without prompting, I would guess you are excited about them too. So have fun finishing your stories. Thanks for the update. ghostdiva

IT'S DONE? *dances with joy* *realizes she has to wait for it* *waaaaaahhhhhh* Seriously, I like the way you've got it planned out. "Forever" definitely does deserve a big release. Can't wait for "Chelsea" and "Eclipse". And I LOVE the art!

I know, it's been on the Fan Fic page since I opened the place...I've been working on it in bits and pieces for almost a year now--but this is a big story, and possibly the one for which, if any, I might be remembered by the larger community. So I wanted to make sure it was rightIn some ways, "Hearts In Eclipse" is spun out of "Forever"--some of what I originally wanted to do in "Forever" I decided would distract from the real point of the proceedings, and make it ungodly long. So I took those ideas, expanded them, and merged them with a few other continuity details to create "hearts" If that isn't enough of a hint as to what might be going on, there's some set up provided by this story: Back In The Saddle? (the fake newspaper, not the EGB story)

Fritz you are an anomaly. You write things that are so real and discriptive... But you teasers are vaugue as all get out. You can be frustrating sometimes. But that's okay. I can wait. Walks off mumbling "surprises can be good...surprises can be good..." ghostdiva

It's the irritating mark of the writer, keep the audience tense and on tenderhooks for the longest amount of time possible, then assault them all but physically with a knock out punch. Definately looking forward to Forever if it's your Opus, Fritz.

I officially decided to break "Hearts In Eclipse" into pieces, and have broken what I have done into two parts. My usual proofreading bunch should have the temporary url in their mailboxes right now--as a franchise character appears in it extensively, I'm putting it under the two week wait I use for GBWC stories.
But two parts of it are done. And Part 3, the wrap-up, shouldn't take all that long to do (at least I hope not)
