Fritz, you're killin' me! Foul mouthed rappers AND otherwordly politics, I swear I'll have nightmares for months. This is obviously a set up story for a few big things (I'm catching on. lol) Do I forsee things hitting the fan during a time that will have an impact on Fritz's plans for a certain day in September? Maybe yes, maybe no. Anyway, I liked the story , definately some interesting concepts going through it. ghostdiva

Is this a hidden referrence to me, or is my ego getting the better of me? ;D
Enjoyable read. I think I already know who the Necromancer is...I believe I tussled with him before.
I'd really like some more info on the Soul Tracker.

Is this a hidden referrence to me, or is my ego getting the better of me? ;D In all honesty...I was indeed thinking of you when I wrote that. Heh heh... ;D It's one of the villains on the big list Kyle Stevens gave us when the GBWC started, just like Calcent the Eye Collector. There's just a tad more available here, including a pencil drawing: www.gbwc.net/tobin/soultracker.html

I was thinking before I got to the mention in the story: Rachel is the West Coast equivalent of Slimer. When I read the mummy part I can't help but think of Aqua Teen Hunger Force's mummy episode (the mummy wore a big ankh pendant & dressed in hip hop & the Dummy's Guide to Mummies)

Not really...Rachel is very articulate, doesn't eat everything in sight, and does NOT get goop all over everything. Slimer's just...well, there.

I was thinking before I got to the mention in the story: Rachel is the West Coast equivalent of Slimer. Rachel, for those who may not know, was created by the user "Afterlife of the party" of GBHQ. She joined the GBWC about a month before "Word To Your Mummy", and her first appearance can be found here. Lol...I admit the resemblance is intentional in the acknowledgements. At least Pharoah is out on the loose so I can use him anytime I want. Unlike Nick the Biker Punk--if I want to use him again I have to think of some way to get him out of GBNY's ECU.

Hey Fritz, this was a great story! I enjoyed it very much. What inspired you to write it?

1. I wanted to use Tohmloq again. Al suggested "have someone out to get him"
2. I wanted a new enemy around, one connected to the Necromancer subplot.
So I consulted Kyle's list, and found the Soul Tracker, who could be molded to fit both of the plot points.
Add on MIss Janine's request to have her character meet Egon, and some posts on GBI and the GBWC board with "Egon" talking with Rachel, and everything just about fell into place.

Sounds like a lot of it practically wrote itself. And I love the meeting scene! I'm a fan, but not a "fangirl". There's a big difference.
