Woah... that pic of Janine was unexpected. Do I sense a little bit of nose rubbing? ;D Er, anyway... For the final cover in the numbered sequence, Ghostbusters No.8, we get an image that will be familiar to anyone who bought the first issue of 88MPH's comic series--or has visited the Ectozone within the last year and a half. www.deviantart.com/deviation/25719517/It's a reworking of Steve Kurth's cover done with the animated likenesses. I did the picture in the fall of 2003, and thus some of the equipment follows the animation design a little closer than I usually do now (compare to all of the previous numbered covers) I've never posted it at this size before, so it'll be interesting to see what people think of it.

Extreme Ghostbusters No.1 is an extra to the covers I've already posted--this time featuring the stars of the failed but promising (to me, anyway) 1997 attempt to revitalize the Ghostbusters franchise. www.deviantart.com/deviation/25999183/The cover picture is actually the oldest thing I've posted anywhere to date--I actually drew the picture in 1997, when the show was still running on TV. I was even planning a story called "Bad Reception", which ended up appearing in truncated form at the very beginning of my fan fic "Return of the Jersey Turnpike Terror"

Ah, this is very cool. Like it. "Failed" is a sad word, isn't it? It's me - I'm jinxed. EGB is one of four shows, that I can think of off the top of my head, that I really liked and was cancelled after one season. Still, at least it went out on a high - it didn't have a chance to get weak. Deviating, me? Well, I say again, it's a cool picture. Y'know, I mean, Garrett's eyes are actually blue, but... shut up, Rosey. More, please. ;D

Very cool work, Fritz.
I don't think we get to see enough Extreme GB artwork, and it makes a nice change from RGB.
Seconded. ;D

Some of you may remember two years ago? I contributed a comic strip to Kingpin's Ghostbusters.nuts called "Christmas With The Spenglers"? And got my ass flamed off for not having Janine dress like an Eskimo to sleep in her own bed with her own husband (Egon)? Well, new for the Holidays, I've taken the original line art and completely relettered and colored it. The old picture featured horrible word balloons and washed-out pencil color. the new version features much better balloons (if a little squared off, due to the limits of my software) and computer colors. Take a look: www.deviantart.com/deviation/26318174/And for comparison's sake, here's the original: www.deviantart.com/view/4433316/

And I would like to write more, as a matter of fact, I found a really good prank and I've been trying to figure out how to get Eric involved, the problem is, we just don't know that much about the boy. He has magic powers, wears goggles, and generally acts like his dad, other than that... The masterminds behind Eric should give us some more to work with ghostdiva
