Hey, I read 'em too. I just don't have anything to say that I haven't said before.

I'm reading it too Fritz! I don't know anything about Digimon, but I know neopets, so I'm trying to follow based on that. It's going good so far. Though I am not familiar with the creatures so its a little difficult, but you're good at describing things to your audiance so I think I get the jist of it. ghostdiva

I’ve read it, too! Despite never having watched one Digimon episode, I think this story is really good. I love those little Digimons and the Yokomans. They are so cute. There is a lot of really funny interaction between the characters, and the story itself is very interesting. I’m wondering whether I should download some Digimon episodes and watch some because the way you write it, it sounds quite a good show. I haven’t quite got used to some of the names, apart from Veedramon/Veemon, but the characters themselves and the situations/quests they are involved in seem very interesting. I’m going to take a look at the Digimon Ectozone, and the Digimon Codex. Maybe that’ll help to get me up to speed on some of it; though looking at the number of Digimon characters there are in the Codex, it’ll probably take me some time.

Lol...well, there's currently official numbers going up to #572, and a bunch that haven't been given official numbers, and a passle of variants that Bandai USA at least doesn't consider "seperate" Digimon. I've been trying to write it so that a deep knowledge of the show isn't essential, but if you do know it (especially the first two seasons) it will be that much more meaningful. Ogre and I began plotting it out in the summer of 2000, when the first season had just finished, so when the second season took some strange turns (including an out-of-nowhere romantic twist the broke up a popular couple. Which brought about the same queasy feeling I got watching GB2 the first time) it was time to say "Well, our universe includes the first two seasons, but isn't completely hamstrung by them. A total of ten chapters exist, which were first written in late 2000 to early 2003. My plan right now is to at least get Chapter Six out, which finishes the first story arc. The second would extend probably the Chapter Twelve, but it isn't finished--I had barely started Chapter 11 when I started to get noticed on the Ghostbuster boards, so all those stories started to get my attention. And one trivia note, there is a connection between the two cartoons: in Season 1-2, there was a character called Patamon who's voice might seem familiar to RGB fans. He was voiced by an actress named Laura Summer.

Wow. I think I've got a lot of reading to catch up on. I like the fact that there is a bit of a romance element (even though they've done a GB2). It all does sound very interesting, and I've found a good website which has a really good Digimon episode guide, too, so that will help as well.
