Hello everyone,
Two months ago on GBHQ in a topic about how Sony treats Ghostbuster fans, a certain member (Cliff Roswell) had a revelation. For far too long, Ghostheads have been treated with very little regard. We've either been looked over, patronized, and have had scraps thrown to us like orphan children who hold on to the dream that one day their wishes will be fulfilled. It's no secret what we have endured in the last 17 years. Since Ghostbusters II, RGB was cancelled after being regulated with lackluster stories, EGB debuted just to sell toys and take money out our pockets, GB3 had hopes of becoming real until certain parties gave up and became stingy with their power to let it happen, and last but not least...in the last two years we have been burdened with the blunder by the way 88MPH Studios has handled our beloved franchise.
Enough!
The world loves Ghostbusters. WE ARE the last of the Ghostbusters and owe it to ourselves and fans everywhere to do justice to the legacy that Dan Aykroyd created that has given us joy and many fond memories.
Roswell's revelation was this - we have been left ON OUR OWN.
On GBHQ, we devised the idea to create an online Fanzine that the entire Ghosthead community can participate in. This will be a monumental endeavor that will unite the boards and and once again bring glory back to Aykroyd's vision.
So, friends, we need all the help we can get. If you're an artist, writer, web designer, poet, journalist, antique and toy collector, or just have something you want to contribute, the door is wide open. Below are two links for the dicussion of the fanzine:
1) The forum for the On Our Own: GB fanzine

2)Role call for those who are only serious about getting involved in the project.

In conclusion, if you want to take action and put Ghostbusters back into the hands of the fans, now is the time to do it. Speak or forever hold your peace.
