Good stuff, people...
Nah...with a proton pack. What with the whole 'separating molecules at the speed of light' thing, it conveniently doesn't leave any evidence behind. ;D

Where's that vomiting slimer when you need him? I'm sorry but I had to delete the link--Proboards frowns on links to adult content. If anyone else wants the link PM me (or Seraphim, if that's all right with her.)

If anyone else wants the link PM me (or Seraphim, if that's all right with her.) Sure, no problem. I do apologise if I have inadvertently corrupted any young minds, or made anyone lose their lunch because of it. Poor Egon. Poor Slimer… “Slimer hate Clara. Clara Evil monster. Clara make Slimer puke lots. Slimer puke all over Clara’s shoes.”

Some great stuff guys, haven't had a good enough laugh in a while. I think we've stumbled onto the answer, Clara Hamilton is, in fact, either a form of Banshee or one of the types of entities that ensares men by clouding their judgement. "Clara... you're emitting a PKE Veilance of 7... is there something you'd like to tell me?" "Um... I'm part ghost? That's how I know you want me, and how Janine is a ditz." "Um... Clara, that doesn't answer my question, that's just really badly written dialogue." Edit: Cliff, the masculine of Mary Sue is 'Gary Stu'.

I knew it! I knew there was something fishy about her, besides the Mary Sue-ness.
Quick! Somebody get a proton pack and a trap! We'll bust her before she can do any more damage.

Edit: Cliff, the masculine of Mary Sue is 'Gary Stu'. Ah. So noted. Either way, I'm still guilty of committing said act.... ...or am I? I haven't shown it to anyone, so...would that make me a free man with a clean record? --Cliff

I haven't shown it to anyone, so...would that make me a free man with a clean record? Totally. It’s when they are sprung on the unsuspecting public that very bad things happen. I’ve heard tales of Mary-Sue authors disappearing in the night, roaming the streets clutching sheets of papers screaming “But it isn’t MEEEEE!” I do like your idea of a GB/BtVS crossover, though. Sounds trés interesting.

Technically, it was more like a GB/BtVS/Gremlins crossover.
...and it didn't go very far. It went about forty-odd pages, but that was it.
Personally, I can't really see a GB/Buffy crossover, or at least one that's actualy feasible. Perhaps Fritz could, since he's head of the WCD, but me...uh-uh. I can do an incredibly f*cked-up pairing such as GB and the Toxic Avenger (with more Troma references in it than you can shake a stick at), but Buffy? Out of my leauge.
...although...when I was reading Chris Golden's "Gatekeeper Trilogy," there was instance where I could possibly pair Egon and Giles. Giles was attending some soiree about a New York library getting some arcane books. I posited that Giles and Egon had met sometime in the past and had struck up a conversation on...well, any number of out-there ideas on the supernatural. Perhaps some kind of relation as to mentoring teenagers/Gen-Xers.
Other than a scene like that, I got nothing.

Truth be told, I had entertained the idea of doing a Buffy/GB crossover, but I think I started work on the Nightsquad stuff and the idea vanished from my mind. I think I will finish my Transformers story, albeit as a Apochrypha story. Edit: Just read Places, Everyone. Excellent stuff... so great because it's so true... Anda lot of it I've sadly seen fleeting around the net... good story.

A lot of the times, I'm afraid to write a story with an original character because I every other word I'm thinking "Oh geez, is that MarySue-ish?" Because I'm so afraid that my character is going to be MarySue. I hate them, I absolutely hate them.

I couldn't agree with you more. I do not like Mary Sues either. I was afraid to create a girlfriend for Ray and I thought it was going to be a mary-sue. So I didn't
