I'm not the most prolific guy around, but I've done a fair bit of interesting stuff, I'd like to think...so, here it all is. What's been published so far, anyway... My Art PageGB West Coast: Post-Mortem KombatI believe part one links to two and two links to three, so I won't bother linking them here. I should mention that you can expect a revised version very shortly. I've shortened it to two parts, but both parts are 10-15 pages long in MS Word, so it's longer. And better. Hopefully. GBWC: Food for ThoughtAnother three parter, but only part one has been published so far. I've also contributed to GBWC: Opening Night Part Three, and an upcoming chapter of Chronicles of Gozer. Not to mention I have at least four more stories I plan to write before the year is out, so stay tuned.

Yeah, I tried to put links to the next chapter in a multi-parter when I redid the GBWC site back in May. If the next chapter doesn't exist, it'll link to a "Coming Soon" page. A rewrite of "Post Mortem Kombat"? I look forward to it...the original story was one of my favorites, and I look forward to a newer version. Razor, if I hadn't mentioned this lately, your art skills are amazing and your writing skills are pretty decent too. And heck, you're even proving good at web design--the CoG web site looks great

Yeah, I added Michael Chad, took out Kyle because his dialogue was kind of boring and it bugged me that his personality isn't really captured, and I wrote a scene where Sub-Zero rides along with us on a fun little routine bust.
I'm a lot happier with it now than I was with the original. I mean, it was good for my first story, but all these little things kept bugging me...

Just so everybody knows, (well, except Fritz, since he's the one who did it) Food for Thought Part 2 is up.
And a note to Fritz: You forgot to add a credit to Andy Harness for helping write the fight scene.

It looks like Dr. V's been working out.

Andy said that too, but I didn't think I drew him buff at all. What is it that does it, the chest lines on his shirt? Is his neck too thick?

His arms are a bit big too. Like young Redwoods.

What the hell picture are you looking at? Because it's not the one of Dr. V if you think his arms are too big.
In fact, they might be a little small given the width of the rest of his torso.

Overall: I like. I just wanted you to know that.
Post-Mortem Kombat: it doesn't really bother me that much, but at some point I'd like to get my say in. First of all, when it comes to names, I think it's always better to say "unusual" rather than "silly" - any number of Conchitas could be reading. And of course I'm aware that it's unusual. I know so many kids with foreign names (Kota, Hikaru, Samirah, Sameena, Santiago, Rahill... a couple of them have already come in handy for naming non-American characters) that it just doesn't strike me as odd anymore. And I don't think this is the first time I've made it clear that I know:
"Yeah, well - the dad's Hispanic and the mom's weird." (Garrett Miller in Gorgeous and Talented)
So I guess I don't need to go into it too much. Well... I probably couldn't say any more on it if I wanted to. Incidentally Conchita is based loosely on Sameena, who is extremely pretty and absolutely sweet and I love her. The names aren't drastically different, and I knew the Spanish name Conchita from the tennis player Conchita Martinez anyway, so that's kinda why. Hmm... I guess I can say more. Always. Everyone tells me I talk too much. Anyway...
With all those comments about Peter working out, I was expecting something... well... more. With that expectation, I liked the picture more than I maybe would have done without it. I actually find excessive muscles kind of a turn-off (I seem to remember Fritz was pretty amazed when I told him, what with the kind of freaky overly-buff comic book characters he was brought up on), but I don't think that picture is too much. And anyway, whether or not I fancy him is hardly suitable judgement on whether it's a good picture. It is of course an excellent piece, and makes me kinda bitter that I can't draw.
So like, don't you like Avril Lavigne's music or is it just the name?

I actually find excessive muscles kind of a turn-off. I know it's totally off-topic, but I definitely agree with that statement. Overly-muscular guys have never appealed to me in any way. In fact, most of my ex-boyfriends have been 6-foot plus and kind of lanky. Maybe it's a British thing. You don't generally see that many muscular guys around here. Beer bellies, yeah. Buff, no. Back on-topic, though. I do like your version of Dr. Venkman. Facially, he reminds me more of Bill Murray than the 88mph version. I do agree that his neck is a little too thick, but apart from that, I think he looks great. Like EGBFan, I'm also quite envious of your drawing talent. As I've said many times before, I think this fan base is probably one of the most talented I've ever come across. On a side note, I would also love to see the picture coloured.

Again, I did not deliberately draw Pete "beefy". I have a hard time drawing wrinkled shirts, so I made his tight. Apparently, it looks too tight. And the neck was just an error.
The new version that Ben is coloring has a thinner neck and baggy undershirt.
As far as the Conchita thing goes, it was just intended as a joke. I don't have any particular dislike of the name, it's just that...
1) Children with funny names get made fun of in school. Hell, children with NORMAL names get made fun of in school. Small children make fun of people over things as petty as the way they sound when they laugh. Naturally, "Conchita" is not going to win her any popularity contests (not that having a goth mom helps...)
and 2) It just doesn't seem in-character to me for Kylie to let Eddy name the baby. Lovers or not, she still knows he ain't normally clever or tasteful. And you'd think someone who spends so much time dwelling on her secret crushes would have baby names picked out in her head already. (I know I've already decided what I want to name my future offspring)
So my natural inclination was to crack a joke.
Avril Lavigne's name, however, I genuinely do not like.
1) "Avril" is one letter off from April. A one letter difference seems...I dunno, lazy to me. Like they made a typo on the birth certificate and couldn't be bothered to fix it.
2) It's French, and she's Canadian. IMO, French-Canadians are the second-worst human beings alive, behind Nazis. My reasoning is a long story that basically amounts to me never meeting one that wasn't a total ass hole.
3) The silent G in Lavigne just plain pisses me off. In fact, the French language as a whole pisses me off. Just look at "The Louvre" for instance. There are like three completely unnecessary letters there. That's retarded. And it sounds very...I don't wanna say "gay" because I'm not homophobic, and I don't want to say "feminine" because it's not womanly... Let me put it this way: when people accurately pronounce things in French, it sounds to me like they have the kind of lisp or accent or whatever that a man who is acting female would stereotypically have.
I also am not a fan of Avril's music, and she as a human being in general displeases me, because she is the very definition of the word "poser". Her music sounds no different from any given pop, yet she insists that she hates pop, and pretends to skateboard and play the guitar as if looking like a punk rocker will somehow mutate her music into punk rock, when it's still not at all.
Last semester, I did a report on how retarded "Sk8r Boi" is and how much she annoys me. Almost got the highest grade in the class too, lol.
On the bright side, she's moderately attractive looking.

On the bright side, she's moderately attractive looking. Huh! Typical. Isn't it you that doesn't like Kylie's getup because it doesn't give you a good enough view of her breasts? I don't know what else to say. I listened to Under my Skin last night and on Thursday I bought an Avril poster to cheer myself up when my bus never showed up and I was stranded in a darkening drug pushing city for over an hour. But I guess we all have our own tastes. I think most of us know what our children will be called, but I figured Kylie would like Spanish names. She does seem the type who might call her child something - um - unusual. To tell you the truth, Rose was kind of a copout.
