I haven't been there in quite a while. I just got tired of a certain person acting like he was all high-and-mighty, and when he was called out on it, actually had the whatevers to come back before his suspension was up and say he basically couldn't be stopped. At least that's how it looked to me, and I'm willing to be proven wrong. I want to talk about the GBs, not deal with a bunch of garbage. It's sad, though, cause I really liked the place, even though I hung out here a lot more. I bit my tongue more often than not over there, and more than once typed out a post which would have probably gotten me banned had I posted it, just speaking my mind about what was going on.

As far as Sarah, I figured she's entitled to her opinion, but a few of the things that were done to her (by a certain unnamed person) were, in my opinion, totally uncalled for, even if she may have done some provoking.

I try to be friendly and nonconfrontational on every board I haunt (no pun intended). I'm not saying it has to be all Mary Poppins, but there ARE limits, and when things get violently personal, that's one of 'em.

Yes me too. I want to talk about GBs as well. I'm also starting to get fed up with it. But I reallly hope that this will clear up.

You know, from the few PMs I've shared with her, she's said she feels more aggrieved by some of the members on this board than she does about Bo, because she knows certain discussions are happening 'behind her back' on a board she hasn't signed up to and can't defend herself on.

No-one should feel terrorised on an internet messageboard. That's exactly why there should be rules in place to prevent this from happening. Every other board I've visited has rules and guidelines and if they are broken, you get appropriate treatment, without exception. It's fairer, and the boards are largely peaceful as a result.

And I talked to Salina as well in the PMs too. She told how they were treating her and kept making rude comments about. I don't think that's right at all, she should comfortable on the boards not discouraged.

I don't see any reason why she can't come here. I think it's because she knows we are VERY E/J, and she can't change it/feel comfortable with it. It's her choice, though.

I won't deny that that happened early on...we all felt a little bit "liberated" from having to deal with That Certain Person and overdid it a little bit. But that was a long time ago, and I've constantly reminded people not to get into personal attacks.

Does that mean we accept her ideas? Hell no. The difference I shoot for is "Debate the ideas, not the person offering them" She's as welcome to sign up here as anyone else, and while personal attacks aren't approved of, her ideas are fair game. And I think this bunch has proven they'd tear them to pieces. All over again.

Tell me about it, I'm tired of the flaming and fighting there, well some of them are kindof funny to listen to when its about non-important stuff, but, I'm tired of seeing people bashing other people for their own views, example,Newwavegurl, they are always bashing her, well, sometime she does start the fights sometimes, but from what I have seen she really doesn't seem to be a problem, but both sides really need to give it a rest.
