I guess since it's my board I'll start off...
DC: Legion of Superheroes Been following this for ten years...they've just done yet another restart, but Mark Waid is a writing god, so I have high hopes for it.
Green Lantern Technically, they're not publishing an ongoing series right now--but Rebirth has been awesome and I'm definitely sticking around for GL Vol.4
I followed the Superman titles for many years (before he died, in fact) but realized I was buying them mostly out of habit anymore. If anything, having Jim "All The Fanboys Love To Kiss My Ass" Lee drawing the main title made it easier--but the wrongdoings of Image (which he helped found) are a rant in and of itself...
Marvel: Cable/Deadpool Man, I missed Fabian Nicieza...I don't think any writer has a better grasp on these two characters than he does
Fantastic Four Like I said, Mark Waid is a writing god
Ultimate Fantastic Four A really nifty reimagining of Marvel's flagship Silver Age heroes.
88MPH Studios: Ghostbusters Duh...
Gemstone Publishing Donald Duck and Friends Mickey Mouse and Friends Uncle Scrooge Walt Disney'c Comics and Stories I know, I know...I thought the same thing before I actually read them fourteen years ago. Disney comics have a rich tradition of quality work--the late Donald Duck artist Carl Barks is one of the true legends of the comic medium (he is the actual creator of Uncle Scrooge, Gyro Gearloose, the Beagle Boys, and many more familiar characters). Don Rosa and William Van Horn have picked up his baton and run with it--Van Horn creates some of the most inspired silliness I;ve ever seen, and Rosa mined Barks' stories to create a coherent, credible universe.
Oni Press Blue Monday A series of one-shots and mini-series by a talented lady named Chyna Clugston-Major. The art is kind of an inspired cross between Archie and anime, and the stories starring high school outcast Bleu Finnegan go places the Riverdale gang never ever would've

This is my reading list: (damn idiots around here don't bother with 88mph)
Marvel
Wolverine
The latest story arc, "Enemy of the State" is pretty good as the writer has decided to use Wolverine to "try to kill the entire Marvel U"
DC
Teen Titans
Like above, the latest story arc has sent the Titans ten years into the future to meet themselves after the events of "Identity Crisis".

In alphabetical order...
Amazing Spider-Man - It's JMS, it's Spidey, 'nuff said.
Army of Darkness: Ashes to Ashes - I don't care what anyone says, Nick Bradshaw's art suits Ash perfectly. Hail to the King, baby.
Astonishing X-Men - At a time when I'm feeling a general sense of fatigue and disgust with the whole mutant franchise, (is it just me, or has Claremont completely lost his mind?) Joss Whedon comes in and writes the most clever X-book I've ever read. Art ain't bad either...though I've gotta say, the cowl has NEVER worked for Cyclops...
The Flash - Let me just say this up front: I am Geoff Johns' biggest fan. If I were a woman, I'd want to have his children. Now that that's out of the way, I should also mention that Flash is my second favorite superhero next to the Green Lantern (both of which, Geoff is currently writing! HA!) It's also nice that this book goes to so much trouble to tie in seamlessly with the Identity Crisis crossover. It's rare to see such well planned out inter-book continuity these days.
Ghostbusters: Legion - Believe it or not, I missed issue 1. It's true. The shop ordered too few copies and it was sold out before I got there. I made damn sure I didn't miss 2 and 3 though. I'll probably get #1 online somewhere, sooner or later...
Green Arrow - Okay, this isn't actually on my usual pull list. But I do have the entirety of Kevin Smith and Brian Meltzer's runs, so that's gotta count for something.
Green Lantern - I know I said GL's my favorite, but for the longest time, I hadn't been following it at all. That year-long period where Kyle was undercover in space was, like, the most boring thing ever. Then I heard about Rebirth, and Ron Marz came back for the last Kyle Rayner arc, and I just had to jump back on. So yeah, I like Kyle, but I like Hal more, and even if I didn't Rebirth is just ****ing brilliant. Book of the year, says I!
Identity Crisis - Okay, so the last issue's already out. But it was still pretty damn good, and the fallout's gonna be huge, so it was really a can't miss if you're a DC fan like me.
JLA - I am the biggest fan of evil alternate universes ever. Flip Side's one of my favorite RGB episodes and Sliders is one of my all-time favorite TV shows(before John Rhys-Davies' character died and the Sci-Fi channel took over, that is). So it stands to reason that I would never miss an arc about the evil version of the Justice League, the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, doesn't it?
JSA - More Geoff Johns goodness. I like time travel almost as much as alternate dimensions, too. And there is always a LOT of time travel going on in this book.
Space Ghost - Yeah, that one where he's taken all seriously and gritty, and Alex Ross does the covers. It's pretty cool.
Strange - As in Dr. Strange, Marvel's Sorceror Supreme. So far, it's JMS's take on his origin, and it's chock full of occult-y goodness.
Superman/Batman - For my money, the best book about either character out right now. And the current arc is just full of time travel and crazy paradoxes and, oh look, there's some Pre-Crisis characters!
Supreme Power - The Squadron Supreme is Marvel's version of the JLA, and Supreme Power is JMS's gritty, mature "real world" take on the characters. So far, I'm enjoying it.
Teen Titans - More Geoff Johns. And DAMN if "Titans Tomorrow" wasn't an awesome arc.
The Ultimates - You know, usually I don't like the Avengers. At all. Especially Captain America. He just seems like a big, stuffy jerk to me. But I DO like Iron Man and Thor, and I think the writing on this book is really clever, so I guess that's good enough.
Ultimate Spider-Man - I have the entire run, so at this point, I'm probably collecting more for completion than enjoyment. The last issue was really good, though. It was the introduction of the Ultimate universe's Dr. Strange, so of course, it's got more of that creepy occult stuff I like.
Ultimate X-Men - I normally don't collect this book. In fact, I hated it at first, because Jean Grey with short hair looks very...wrong, and Magneto was written pretty poorly as a generic "kill people and wreck up the place" supervillain. But then Brian K. Vaughan became the writer. And his stuff has been enjoyable.
I also pick up an occasional issue of Batman or Batgirl or Avengers from time to time, just for the hell of it.

I'm an avid Superman fan, so just about anything with him in it. Teen Titans, the regular one, not based on the cartoon. Green Lantern and Flash are also some of my favoriites. I'm also a big Transformers fan. G1 and War Within are my favorite storylines. Ultimate Spider-Man & the Ultimates are great too. And of course, Ghostbusters. For anyone who read Identity Crisis, I never saw that end coming.

In no particular order:
Amazing Spider-Man: JMS has saved it from the ashes, and even though JRJR has left, the new guy isn't too bad.
MK Spider-Man: If you don't like it, that's your problem.
Ghostbusters: Obviously.
Army of Darkness: Yeah, the art does rock.
Walking Dead: Best book out there.
New Avengers: Finally, an Avengers for me.

I read a lot of stuff, aside from GB. Mainly the Hulk, Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers, Spider-Girl, Young Avengers, Captain America and Green Lantern.
And a whole bunch of other books I am not thinking of right now.

I read:
The Big Almighties
Marvel:
Amazing Spiderman - JMS writes it, as mentioned before, vut a majority of the stories rock, my faves being the collected arcs of "When the Stars Turn Cold" and "Coming Home".
X-Men - Whenever I can.
Wolverine And Gambit/Deadpool - Whenever I can.
Nightcrawler - If a particular arc interests me, like the recent Subway arc, Ghosts on the line.
Image
The Walking Dead - If there is a comic more in tune with Romero's vision of a zombie apocalypse, I haven't seen it (I'm aware he's written his own zombie comic...but frankly, it isn't a patch), a true must for a comic reader and fan of the Living Dead trilogy.
Dreamwave
Thundercats - It's been years since I saw the cartoon, but the recent continuation is worthy of the name and concludes where the series left off.
Independants
88MPH Studios
Ghostbusters - Duh, what'd you expect?
Devil's Due
Army of Darkness - Nick's art rocks, it's so in tune with the comic, and so far it's been spot on, a true must for the Evil Dead fan.
This--is my BOOM Stick!
Megacity 909 - I got into it noe because Andrew Dabb was writer, but the painted style simply rocked, and so I have been collecting since, well written and an interesting idea of our future.

I've recently been turned on to a Marvel series called Runaways, the adventures of a bunch of teenagers who find out that their parents are a team of supervillains. I saw a lot of good press about it and sprung for Vol.2 No.1 when it came out last month, as well as the trade paperback collecting Vol.1 No.1-6 Fascinating stuff. One bit of personal interest I discovered is that it takes place in my fictional counterpart's stomping grounds of Los Angeles. It's wierd to realize that though I consider myself on the DC side of most Marvel vs. DC questions, I'm actually buying more Marvel books right now. The bad news is that Mark Waid's final issue of Fantastic Four comes out this month. The good news is that in May the new writer of the series will be... J. Micheal Straczynski Obviously I look forward to this. And will be on the lookout for any familiar jokes in regards to Reed and Sue...

I was a huge SLINGERS fan, and Ricochet is part of the "Excelsior" group in Runaways. I think he had run out of stories to tell...You can catch Waid on the Spider-Man: House of M one-shot, as well as his own ongoing Spider-Man series with Mike Wieringo later this year.

JMS has an interesting way of making you ask 'Did he just make a reference?' I'm still yet to see anything that wasn't related to him make mention to a joke containing a Kangaroo and a menu.

I also tried the new Runaways series and it is very entertaining. I was a huge SLINGERS fan, and Ricochet is part of the "Excelsior" group in Runaways. I relate--I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the other members was Julie Power. Power Pack was the first series I ever followed from beginning to end. (Though it began to stink really bad after Louise Simonson and Jon Bogdanove left to do Superman: Man of Steel)
