Heh yup, there it is.
No vote results yet...polls are still open for another couple weeks (although nobody's really voting...bums). Once they're done, I'll surprise you all with the results the week prior to their release. 'Cause I'm mean. ;-)

Guess that explains why slimer is so attatched to Peter. He recognizes him from a past life. I feel sorry for whatever country had Slimer for a king, they probably all went hungary, lol (Please tell me the country wasn't hungary) ghostdiva

They never did mention the name...although I'm surprised that was one direction these guys DIDN'T go in.

Strange stuff, as always.
I did find one error in the 1989 Annual section:
Actually, Gozer and Zuul were the antagonists of the movie. "Protagonist" is the central character, basically the good guy--in this case, the Ghostbusters.

Slimette...that may very well have been the most frightening thing in all of the Marvel UK stories. Well, the ones Now reprinted, at least... But doing that right might have meant actually...you know, doing some research. Instead of just pulling out another "King Remils" from their asses. Read the plot and study the name of their fake goddess carefully... (Though this is far from the first fake Sumerian god in the GB mythos...you won't find any gods named Gozer in the real Sumerian mythology. And the name of the demon in "Darkness at Noon", Akira, is actually from a Japanese word...)

Heh very true, but why pass up an opportunity to educate readers? And just wait; Slimette will be back once we reach the 50s in 16 weeks.

BWA HA HA HA HA!!!!!! I really thought that you would have found that intertaining Fritz, what's with the rolling eyes? I think its funny as all get out! I actually have half of a dead end story that has Janine come to a costume party dressed as Inanna, just to see how long it would take Egon to notice. But it has no plot, so no one will probably ever see it. I think Ecto is warming me up to these comics, I used to think they were just corny, but since he pointed out the humor in them, I sorta have an urge to buy some of them and read them. Now I need money ghostdiva

Heh well, they ARE corny as all hell, but as long as you don't mind the absurd they can be enjoyable. And believe it or not, there are a couple guys who produce some quality work in the titles, like John Carnell and Dan Abnett. Their work only suffers from the lengths each story gets, but otherwise they and a couple others have consistently decent stories and ideas.
