tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4728Head here for an interesting announcement. Not the way I would want it, but things can change. I plan to be one of the ones to get it to "show support for season sets."

Four episodes for $9.99 each? Not too bad at all...
Yes. Not our preferred system, but yeah, buy them. Show those jackasses at Sony that the demand IS there...

Exactly what I plan to do. Although I hope they get that message, rather than, "Gee, they'll take any bone we throw them!" Besides, I just want 'em! Feb DVD list: RGB!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Blue Collar TV, Vol. 2

Four episodes of RGB: $9.99 Gas: $4.95/Gallon
Not giving the fans what they want: Priceless.
Sorry, yeah... I'll buy them... but as a motion to get the season sets... and to have screencap ability for a few episodes I don't have on DVD yet.

This does sound promising, but only because I'm so desperate for RGB episodes that I'll buy almost anything at this point.
Hopefully, when Sony sees the interest for the episodes they'll release the them in order of apperance, and not in the random order that's out now.
Of course, it would be nice if they would release DVDs with just Egon/Janine episodes on them as well. ^_^

Great minds, great minds. Unfortunately, it seems that there aren't any great minds working at Sony. I emailed them a question four weeks ago and still haven't heard anything. Blah.
Though that's not to say I'm not getting the DVDs. ghostdiva

Come back, Kingpin! We still love you!
Hey, I'm a sucker for an English accent. And my husband thinks I'm a fan of historian/filmmaker Michael Wood's films cuz I like history...well, that's true, but I adore hearing him talk.
*ahem*
Anyway, I wrote/sent what I think was a very nicely-worded email to Sony, voicing my thanks/support for season sets. Hope it has SOME impact.

Hey! I resemble that remark... um... fleesIt’s okay, Kingpin. He’s one of those strange foreigners. Just nod politely, smile a lot and pretend you understand. That's what I always do. ;D As for the DVD sets, I suppose they are better than nothing, for now. Maybe Sony will get their arses together in the long term and distribute season box sets, but I’m not holding out much hope for that. In the meantime, I’ll get what I can, seeing as I haven’t seen some episodes in a dog’s age and my computer doesn’t seem to like the ones on GBC.
