Well, I'm finally feeling festive so I think it'd be a laugh if we listed our all-time favourite Christmas specials from anything. If it's RGB then that's great (I don't know how many Christmas specials they had - I've only seen one), but it'd be a pretty boring list if it consisted only of RGB, so maybe if that's your favourite you could come up with like a close second or something. Actually I got two: Earthworm Jim Season 2, and Pinky and the Brain did a hilarious one. I watched them both when I was perhaps a little too old - probably about 12. Anyone else?

Yeah, just one RGB Christmas episode--"X-Mas Marks the Spot" by the master, JMS.
Hm...
One of my favorites wasn't a cartoon--it was a Christmas episode of Mad TV from a few years back, with a segment that was a take off of the old Rankin/Bass "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" special...
This version was produced by "Rankin, Bass, and Quentin Tarantino"...when the other reindeer find out about Rudolph's nose, they beat the crap out of him, and he swears revenge. He hooks up with the elf and they hire hitman Yukon Cornelius, who has the Snow Bumble invade Santa's workshop, murder all the elves, and impale Santa on a Christmas tree.
Maybe I just have a sick sense of humor, but I laughed my ass off--in part because the animation was dead-on in resembling the original, and the naughty thrill of hearing distinctly non-kid-friendly lines like "I'm Rudolph...who the hell are you?"

That Mad TV one was hilarious. I saw that and laughed way more than I should have. (Well, probably...)
I also enjoy watching The Muppet Christmas Carol and It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. (I'm a fan of the Muppets. Especially Kermit ;D )
I like watching the RGB Christmas because it's worth to see Peter dress up as Christmas Past in his little tutu.
Scrooged is pretty good as well. (It helps that Bill Murray is in it.)
Those are all the Christmas movies/specials and such I can think of. I'm sure there are a lot of good ones. You just can't watch them all.

Plus RGB which is already mentioned: A Charlie Brown Christmas: I salute ABC for still showing this special. Mystery Science Theater 3000, Episode 321-"Santa Claus Conquers The Martians": A movie filled with plot holes & SFX that is the opposite of GB1 mixed with the wit of a man & two robots make this a instant classic. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, episode "Cybernetic Ghost Of Christmas Past From The Future": Not kissing up to Fritz but this is a hilarious episode. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, episode "Mail Order Bride": So is this one. Aqua Teen Hunger Force, episode "T-Shirt Of the Undead": This one was a bit gross but the ending is great. Sealab 2021, episode "Feast Of Alvis": The introduction of the Alvis religon on the show; plus Stormy drunk was great("Shut your damn jibba-jabba! Jibba-jabba! Jibba-jabba! Jibba-jabba! Jibba-jabba!" ) SpongeBob Christmas Special: It made me laugh, I ain't afraid to admit it.

I've seen a lot of Christmas Carol productions... just hypothetically, how laughed at would I be if I were to say that this was the only one that made me cry? It's got to be the best Tiny Tim scene ever... and it probably helps that he's a cute little frog.

Boy, but this one was bumped down a long way! I have to say, I remember having more replies than this. My memory... Well, time for me to revive it, I think.
Who wants to be original? I stand by what I said last year... no, wait, two years ago!
It has become an annual tradition for my brother and me to watch The Muppets' Christmas Carol. I'll try not to cry, but I'm afraid it does bring tears to my eyes. There was only one year when I watched it and wept openly, and that was when I was getting over flu (it was the year of the epidemic).
Pinky and the Brain, I cannot remember the title, but recently saw it again (thank you CBBC for repeating it!): The Brain makes millions of hypnotic "Noodle Noggin" dolls which he and Pinky smuggle into Santa's workshop by disguising themselves as elves and reindeer at various points during the episode (hilarious). The subplot is that Pinky wants to give a letter to Santa, but keeps getting waylaid. The letter doesn't get delivered; Brain reads it, finds it incredibly touching and no longer has the heart to follow through with his plan (which, for once in a way, would have worked) - it's essentially just a very funny spin on a classic.
And Earthworm Jim (a quote from that episode in my special Christmas sig ;D): one of the strongest episodes of season 2, I think. Queen Slug-For-A-Butt kidnaps Santa in order to make use of his magical flying sleigh; Jim, Peter Puppy and Princess What's Her Name rush to the rescue; Santa turns out to be a superhero and kicks slug-butt. Classic crazy Earthworm Jim humour - it's bizarre, but somehow when you watch it, it works.
Hey Arnold has a pretty nice Christmas special (though not as good as its Valentine's Day special, which I shall cite if I dare create a thread like this one in February), but I have to say I've seen better. The All Grown Up Christmas special was appalling - thank goodness for Dil dressing up in his burglar outfit, or it would have been a complete waste of everybody's time. And, as I've said somewhere in another thread, the Danny Phantom Christmas special was extremely disappointing. So, as I say, my opinions remain unchanged.
I also have a favourite Christmas advert: ;D
Chavs on a sofa. Chav 1: I hate Christmas, it's just become so commercial. Enter Chavettes. Chavette 1 has packet of Doritos. Chavette 1: Right. Who wants some Doritos shaped like Christmas trees? Chavs: Meeeeeee!

'A Pinky and the Brain Christmas'... I can't quite believe it... it was just on, and the ending actually brought a tear to my eye. The Muppet Christmas Carol is a must, though... and for years I wished Citv would re-show the Garfield Christmas episode where he got the unusual idea to put the decorations up in July... ...they never did. The Real Ghostbusters Christmas special will always be a favourite... although there weren't actually any Christmas decorations that made an appearance... not even a tree.

A couple weeks ago I caught a recent (new?) special featuring Bugs Bunny and company in, yeah, another version of A Christmas Carol, but I liked it quite a bit. Daffy Duck had the Scrooge part, and he was portrayed as an evil, money-grubbing department store owner who worked his staff like slaves and was even planning to make them work on Christmas itself.
Having worked eight Christmas seasons in a department store, I could more with empathize with the employees.
The biggest laughs I got were with Yosemite Sam as the Ghost of Christmas Present: he sends Daffy to Porky's house (Porky having the Bob Cratchit role) throught the sewer system. When Daffy pops up in the toilet...
Daffy: That was really uncalled for!
Sam: No, critter, this is what's uncalled for... (Sam flushes Daffy back down the toilet.)
Shortly after that, Sam askes Daffy with exasperation "How'd you like to get back to your office at the end of my foot?!"
Practically everyone does "A Christmas Carol" at one point or another. This didn't add much, but it was pretty amusing.

I loved the Futurama Christmas episodes. And when it comes to Christmas films, nothing beats Scrooged for me.
I know it's recent and isn't exactly a classic, but I loved last year's Dr Who Christmas Special - Evil Santas, Christmas Trees that come alive and carve holes in walls, a newly regenerated Doctor, death by Satsuma and the 'snow' was the ash of a destroyed spaceship. The Christmas Special for this year looks like it's going to be a blast, too.
