Valentine's Day is even more commercial than Christmas. I would go so far as to say that it's the most commercialised day of the entire year. Love is not a tacky rhyme and little pink hearts. Well, that's just what I think. Deep, isn't it?

Well, IIRC, it was haevily promoted as a way to move LOTS of Valentine's Day cards. But, as a hopeless romantic, It's also my favorite holiday. Helps to have Rose as your name. ;D

Helps to have Rose as your name. ;D Yuh-huh, well, it doesn't seem to help my being called Rosey, but I don't think it's the Y that makes the difference to my attitude. I'm just a bitter, twisted person. All the women in my family eventually get divorced (I shan't list them, but I'll give you a number: 8 - that's 2 from my grandmother's generation and 6 from my mother's), so I tend not to even try where these things are concerned. I'm sorry - ignore me. I'll just go back to cutting up bridal magazines... |

Been there, done that- the first hubby was a jerk! Then I met the current Mr. Janine, and it'll be 10 years this October! I like to think I got lucky! Now you know why I've been rooting for E/J all these years! I love weddings!
