Ghostbusters West Coast: IntermissionBy Fritz Baugh and Jeremy Hicks 2004--Timeline Year 22 The Ghostbusters have mourned the loss of one of their own, the resignation of their most experience member, and the addition of two new members to replace them. But now, something dark begins to surface in the mind of Jeremy Hicks... This story bridges the gap between "Curtain Call" and "Chronicles of Gozer" (speaking of Gozer, I have the rough drafts for two more chapters in hand, and hopefully they'll be out very soon) It also features guest shots from Peter and Dana Venkman, Winston Zeddemore, and even Vincent Belmont and Jill Valentine.

I always wondered what happened to the MDGB. Makes sense-as crazy as we are here about the Chesapeake Bay, we WOULD go nuts over some slime...
Great story. Now to read the other GBWC ones...

Glad you liked it. My franchise stories don't seem to get as much comment as my RGB stories, but I still get a kick out of doing them. I know some of you would rather I stopped to get the RGB stories out faster, but I'm quite fond of this little group I've helped keep going over the last two years. Strangely enough, though I've had appearances by some of the original Ghostbusters in the GBWC stories, they're mostly E/J free: Egon only appears in Opening Night at the end of part 3 and briefly in part 4 (the twins are also in part 3). Janine shows up in Home Turf. Venkman is the original who shows up the most--since he had connections to Hollywood (per EGB's "Back In the Saddle") he was catalystic in the team's origin, and is at least mentioned in a lot of the stories.

It's something I've noticed as well, that I get less feedback (Excluding my regular readers) on the GBUK orientated stories then on the GBNY related ones...I wonder what the reason for this phenomina is...is it people just don't care about our 'original' creations and just want us to stick to RGB/EGB?

I care...The only thing I can think of is that we haven't had years to get to know them like we did the RGB/EGB characters. It'll happen, though.

The reason the OGB stories draw in a bigger crowd has a lot to do with people just being curious to see what you've done with characters they've grown to love.
I got a satisfying amount of feedback on Post-Mortem Kombat, but it was a crossover and I did do that cool poster with Scorpion and Sub-Zero on it...

This is actually the first time I'm bumping this one. Heh heh...hey Rose, aren't you comments a little ironic now that you're on the team?

Tell me about it. (RL comment approaching) And now that I'm "between jobs" again (various things made me quit Target), I've got more time to read!
