Yeah, we try and behave here--I try to keep things a litle more polite than at GBHQ, but certainly not the "don't disagree with anyone ever!" mentality at GBCentral.

Basically, if Proton Charger wants to show up here and do nothing but insult you, I'd have to ban him.

What's the general consensus on bumping topics (how far back can one go)?

And like Fritz said above, some stuff we can really only talk about here 'cuz some people on other boards tend to get upset. The topic that comes to mind is the Egon/Janine one. Go read that thread! We have some very good discussions over there.

Bump away--if you notice, in the Ectozone Ghostbusters section, I've made it a habit of bumping my stories, in release order, every year or so. If I think I see a problem, I'll let you know--but this board's not very busy, and with the people here there hasn't been much problem yet.

My real name is Jennifer and I just joined today, even though I've been lurking for quite a while. ^_^

I've been a fan of The Real Ghostbusters for as long as I can remember, and at this point I'd almost be willing to trade my soul to get it back on the air.

I'm 20, and a bit of an anime freak, but there are a lot of North American cartoons I like as well. I also love to play video games and read manga, especially Shonen Jump. In short, I'm a kid's mind in the body of an adult. lol

I'm a huge fan of the Egon/Janine couple. Which is weird for me, because while I love screwing around with couples in other shows I like, my imagination just won't let me touch this one. It's like my mind holds that couple as sacred or something.
And judging from the posts I read here, that's going to go over very well with you guys. lol

And if you want some real E/J goodness, scoot on over to the Omnibus Fanfic site and catch up on some of the stories. We're building up to "Forever", the long-awaited E/J wedding story. Fritz says it's coming soon. (I might sound like I'm pimping him, but I'm really not . I just know what feeds my E/J needs. ;D )

I know. I've been reading his stories there (which are very good, by the way ) and I've been eagerly awaiting that one. I pretty much squealed with delight when Egon proposed, I can't imagine my reaction when they officially tie the knot. ;D

I know who you're talking about. I read some of her stuff on ff.net and feel my stomach turning right know just thinking about it.
If only ff.net would make a rule about no Mary Sues. That would be bliss. *Sighs wistfully*
