Heh, you're big on the interwining/secret plots, aren't you, Seraphin? I myself have been wondering both about the Ascension and BAD WOLF. ;D

I was going "What the f*** is 'BAD WOLF' then I clicked the link in Seraphim's signature...
Erm, anyway, the "Ascension" is something important. But that's all I'm gonna say right now.

Okay so I have a question about this story steeming from Gemini Rising part 1. Why is it that Shannon is no longer the child of the Gemini, or the avatar, or however you wish to refer to him. Why is it that the twins are the new target, I am confused. Am I supposed to be, lol? ghostdiva

I was thinking the same thing, especially since Eden and JC are not identical twins, which all representations I see of Gemini show.
I sometimes think Nodus swiped the Twins because of the mad-on he seems to have for Egon and Janine.

Miss Janine I'm not familiar with the term 'mad-on' what does it mean?
The twins are obviously supossed to be the avatars of the Gemini, the zodiac fragment started glowing at the point of their conception. which makes sense when you consider that 'the five who are one' are supposed to have a part in the assention. Though I have no idea what that means either...but that wasn't my question, I was just wondering why Shannon is no longer part of the 12, being that he was so powerful from being half-demon and all. ghostdiva

Mad-on just means "he's really mad at'.
And I forgot about the essence of Gemini.

Presumably by this moment in time Shannon was either powerful enough, or had received the appropriate training to no longer be affected/controlled by the powers of the zodiac... after all most of the participants were teenagers or younger and most incapable of resisting the avatars' power.
It is an intriguing theory, though.
