Over a year ago, Kingpin posted on the now (apparently permanently) gone Ghostbusters.net about his idea of taking the superb Ghostbusters Canon List compiled by Anne Labidolemur from work by Cindy Rancourt. Well, hell, I jumped in there with a few factoid from EGB that could let us nail down Egon's birthday pretty exactly (on or around November 21, 1957, by the way...we "established" Nov. 21 because it happens to be Ramis's birthday) About six months later, after a lot of hard work--mostly from Ben and the much-missed Matthew Riddle, The Ghostbusters Fact List became a reality. It's all there--the tools, the talents, hell even their shoe sizes. Well, okay, maybe not the shoe sizes, but it's just short of that. ;D Take a look www.ectozone.com/gbfl.html

Wow, was it really a year ago?
Maybe I should consider giving it a look over, see if I can spruce it up a bit?

I've added some new stuff to the Fact List pages... First and formost, some revisions to the Places of Interest page from Kingpin have been uploaded--they're some notes about the layout of the Firehouse. Then, some new art is up on Ray and Winston's pages: Ray and Winston sporting Slime Blowers! There's also a link to those pictures on the Art Page and a smaller version of the Ray picture illustrates the Slime Blower entry on the Equipment Page

A little more art has been added to the Fact List pages of the four Ghostbusters: artistic depictions of their "classic" civilian attire as seen in the animation. Venkman and his white sweater, Winston in his black and white shirt, Ray's green sweater vest--it's all here.

You know, despite the fact I have an incomplete collection of Extreme Ghostbusters, I'm tempted to give the EGBs the proper Fact List treatment...
Fritz, did you give them the projected dates that you assigned them, based on their vocal actors?

In Roland, Kylie, and Garrett's cases, yeah. IMDB didn't have a birthdate listed for Rino Romano--Eduardo's birthday was actually from one of Iain's stories. I have no idea where he got it, but I did ask Rosey if she thought it was all right. It's like one day off from her birthday, so she decided it was workable.

I did wonder about the entry of Lenny Clotch at TVTome.

It's like one day off from her birthday, so she decided it was workable. (Lol) That wasn't the only reason I said it was ok - I just thought it would be cool. My b/day is July 19th, Eduardo's is the 18th - pretty close! I was thinking maybe Eduardo's father died around that time in 1990, but I thought if I ever did anything with it there'd be no harm in moving it forward a bit. Obviously the world isn't like that, but from a writer's point of view a birthday happening too close afterwards would complicate things (I now think it happened the following week - and I vaguely remember I said something along those lines in a story... I think).

Some small changes I thought I'd mention just in case... The Ghostbusters Fact List and the Timeline have been moved slightly. All the stuff is still there, and the current urls will still link to them through a redirect/refresh META tag. The new Fact List url: www.ectozone.com/gbflThe bigger change is in some if the urls of the component pages. What I mean is, for example, the Egon Fact List page used to be www.ectozone.com/gbflegon.html but now it's www.ectozone.com/gbfl/egon.htmlAlong with that, there's an actual page for Slimer now in the "Current Day" section: www.ectozone.com/gbny/slimer.htmlI think I've got all the links corrected in the other Ectozone and GBWC pages, but if you have any of them bookmarked you might want to recheck and update them.

I've recently been doing some updates of the pages devoted to the "present day" Ghostbusters, as determined by the Ectozone/GBOT fan fic continuity. The main page is here: www.ectozone.com/gbnyI've added several new pages, including a page dedicated to the ECTO-1, and individual pages for all of the Ghostbuster offspring. Oscar, Jessica, Charlene, Eric, John, and Eden each have their own listings in the same format as the ones already there for their parents. Personal Timelines, relative lists (can't keep track of all those Wallances? Now there's a handy list on Oscar's page) and, where known, notes about "Future Fates" and the pictures thereof. I hope this, along with a new Timeline addition, will make keeping track of "our" universe a little easier.

Eep - did I really invent all those Wallances? Actually, I had forgotten. My memory is very, very bad indeed, but I'm beginning to remember now. Andre's brother was an absolute tool to move along the plot in "Second Chances", and I gave him a family with the vague idea that I might come back to them someday (or at least one of them), but that never came to anything and doesn't look like doing so now. But hey, the future is a sea of uncertainty. Anyway, that is helpful, to have these things broken down and put in lists and chronological order and everything and Fritz how do you find the patience? It is always nice to be quoted. I think I gave birth to a few of those lines (even Eden's - that was a pleasant surprise ). I was just reading them back to myself, thinking, God! I'm good. ;D Joke, sorry. On that (one-liners, that is), a point of grammar, if I may. Technically, Egon should be mad about "Vic and me dropping water balloons", not "Vic and I"... but I guess maybe John doesn't know that. He's a kid, and he's bound to have heard it wrong on TV a few times. But anyway, I wanted to mention it, because a lot of people seem to think that "and I" is correct every single time, but it just isn't. Ok, I'm gonna shup up and go look at what Fritz has done to the Timeline...
