Get to Know your Board Buddies

Okay, I thought it would be fun to take EGBFan's "Get to Know Your Characters" thread and do the same things for us.

I would like this to remain very silly information, more along the lines of what is your favorite soup.

So I would like to open with that question and the ever popular what car would you get if you could have anything currently on the market.

I like vegetable soup and not much else in the way of soup unless speghettios count! lol

I would get a Jeep Patriot. I love them, they have iPod holders. As a matter of fact I love all Jeeps and I drive one now, but I really like the Patriot. (drools)

As for me I want a honda civic or a accord. Those are my favorite cars and if I can I would love to have both if I can drive that is.

I loathe soup, but I can just about swallow tomato if I absolutely have to. An easier question would be, what kind of soup most makes me want to throw up. The answer, for reasons I think are obvious, is ox tail (*retches*).

I don't care about cars. I suppose I think Vauxhall Corsas are quite cute (if not exactly the coolest car in the world), but as long as it gets you from A to B, I'm not fussed.

That's my first thought too. If money was no object, something like that--or at the very least, something that could burn E85. f**k being stylish, or having one of those ugly-ass Armored Yuppie Carriers, I want something that is, at the very least, going to destroy our environment more slowly.

Yeah... good point. Now I'm feeling compelled to add that I care about the environment and I don't actually drive - I walk anywhere within a few miles (unless I'm going to be carrying something heavy for more than a few hundred yards), or else I use public transport.

(I almost got a bit shirty with my friend yesterday. "I don't think the shuttle bus is running, we can't go to the other campus..." I've never used the shuttle bus in my life because it's a twenty-minute walk, including the waits at the pedestrian crossing! I know people who absolutely refuse to walk anywhere, they look horrified if I say I'll walk to somewhere a mile away, and yet they're prepared to pay vast amounts of money to go to the gym. But anyway -)

So here's a nice easy question: what's your favourite animal?

Now me, I like tigers. I don't have a favourite kind of tiger. I like all tigers because I am incredibly shallow: they are wild, beautiful and big. Who said size doesn't matter?

Well in case nobody from West Coast could tell, I'm quite fond of the '69 Charger (which I'm working towards getting right now)

I randomly used to study native american religion and there is something called a medicine wheel they use to balance out the areas of their life, it has four points, north south east and west, earth wind water and fire... and it is said that everyone is given certain animals to follow all of their lives, in demeamor and instincts. Anyway, most people only know two or three of their animals, they have to achieve a sort of perfect harmony with themselves and nature before they discover all of them. Anyway I know that two of mine are the whale and the ladybug because I seem to see them all of the time, I have ladybugs in my house in the middle of winter, its very odd. Those are also my two favorite animals.

Where I live having a hybrid won't do me much good, I'm lucky to find a gas station. I didn't get my license until a year and a half ago, I used to walk everywhere in college and we had no public transportation systems, at school or here for that matter. If I had to go to the grocery store I had to wait and catch a ride with a friend. I've gained weight since I came home because I used to walk four or five miles everyday without thinking about it and if I did that here I would be lost in the woods somewhere, lol.

My family can only get dial-up here we are so far away from civilization, the phone lines don't even have fiber optics, so we can't even get highspeed.

Here's a good question: What is your favorite color? Psychologist can read a lot about people by finding out what their fav. color is.

Well, what could I tell.

I am a guy from Germany, 22 Years old 1 metewr and 86 cm large, brown hair, bluish-grey eyes. oh that's not what you wanted tio know right?

Well I'm the oldest of nine children (all by the same parents! IF SOME JERK WANTS TO ASK!). We are six brothers and three sisters.
Currently I study Theology and make some living from writing theatre-plays for schools. I love the GB since 1991 when the animation still ran on german TV.
I also like Star Wars, Back to the Future and especially Super Mario Bros!
My favorite five Books are in ascending order: Going Postal!, The Hitchhiker's Guide through the Galaxy, Thud, The Lord of The Rings, The Bible (Yes I am a true believer!)

My fav. color is blue BTW. Wear it all the time!

Pffffffffff. They think they can, but I don't believe a word of it (there's another little tidbit about me: I think psychology is a load of baloney). My favourite colour is blue. A psychologist would say that means I'm studious, serious and conservative. Well, I'm a good student, but that's as far as it goes - anyone who reads my stories will know that I am not conservative, and anyone who knows me will know that I am rarely serious.

I disagree about psychology in-general. I believe SOME psychologists take it too far though, such as reading a person by their favorite color. Stuff like THAT is bull. However, psychology definitely works, I dont even have my degree yet and I've already counseled a lot of people successfully from my knowledge of it.

I will have two lessons about pastoral care in the next three years. That's some kind of psychology.

However I find it funny, that some psychologists try to tell what a guy you are from your handwriting! That's weird!

Favorite Soup: When I was sick my mom would always shovel Spagghtios down my throat so I have a love of that even as a college student. I still carry around a can, a sthingy, and a thermos of hot water.

I'm not a huge car enthusiast, but if I had a choice, I'd love to own a hot rod (a 1932 custom Ford Deuce Coup with a Chevy 409 engine) and just rip windows off of cars as I cruise down the street. But since that's a stupid dream, the reality is a 1984 Ford Mustang, like the one my mom used to have.

I know a lot about history, which, if you read my stories (FF.net name is "CJ Bacon" plug plug) you'll see that I like to incorporate as much about a subject as I can. When I was 5th grade, I could actually name off all then 42 presidents in order, how long they served, who was their VP's. But I never get the First Lady's right.

I wish I had a favorite animal though. I like Mice and Gerbils and Chinchillas, so I guess rodents.

Oh and Simeon: I did spend some time in Germany as a kid, so i'm kind of familiar with the German language (not much though).

I'm also (quickly) learning to play the electric guitar (an Epiphone SG Special that sounds great plugged or unplugged) and skateboard.

All my other interests, movies, actresses, etc. are somewhere else on this board.

Really? When did you stay in Germany? And where?

And some additional facts about me:

I love asian cooking, especially with lot's of red Curry. I can cook pretty good myself. My favored recipes are: Sauerkraut with Nuremberg-sausages, Spaghetthini al Dorothea (I dubbed it that way. It's called after my mom, cause she invented it) and red curry in all it's variants.
My favorite Soup is Asparagus-Creme-Soup! With fresh franconian Asparagus!

The only car I would like to have is an old Volkswagen Beetle or a Porsche 365 "Ferdinand". For Practical Uses I would prefer a Volkswagen T5. But I rather stick to trains and busses.

My dream is to top my parents child record (10)

So far from me. Now I have a question to you guys: What is the trip furthest away from home you ever made?
I was in NY for two weeks back in 2002 during august. That's the only time I have been out of Europe in my life so far.

I swear a psychologist would probably have a field day with me when I start with mentioning I don't even have one favorite color. I lean toward blue, but there are many circumstances where I like red better.

Furthest I've been from home was nineteen years ago. Spring break 1988. I went with my choir on a trip to Acapulco and Mexico City. And only once since then have I been out of the state, during a family reunion in 1997.
