...They're still young and raw, Eduardo and Kylie still in the "when are they just going to get with it?" stage...
I'll try to remember to tell you about that after I get the next piece out (should be soon-ish - it's not going to be a long one).
Great ending. A nice little bit of temporal shenanigans; I could imagine if Clockwork ever ran into Delphia or Professor Ulforce, it would be a fascinating conversation.
Clockwork is way cool. ;D I got quite excited when I figured out how to get him into this story (it actually wasn't hard to figure out). I wish I could find a picture of him in his elderly form. It's a shame that both of his episodes are slightly rubbish (well, ok, "The Ultimate Enemy" was pretty good, but it could have been a lot better).
I will admit to my own "my show is better blah blah blah"-ish thought: given the time and resources, Egon might be able to, if not open the same portal, certainly access the same dimension if he'd obtained enough readings on the PKE...
Well, perhaps. I don't know. He was clearly planning to try - but as it turns out, it wasn't necessary.

yes I finely got to it
that was a good story in fact I thought if there was going to a cross over the would be it
and the part with the tape having commercials that was grate
just one thing
“Vlad’s smile widened. “Option two. You find a way of getting all of the ghosts in your containment unit into the Ghost Zone. Now now, hear me out. As soon as they’re in, I shall close the portal, and you shall never hear from them or me again.” “All of them?” Garrett couldn’t help laughing. “Dude, that is a stupid idea. At least half the ghosts in there could kick your ass, easy!” Vlad’s eyes narrowed maliciously. “I do not anticipate any ass-kicking, Mr. Miller. But rather, these ghosts shall see me as their ally. Remember” - he stood up suddenly, turning the cat off his lap, and was Vlad Plasmius by the time he was at his full height - “that they and I have something in common.” “They won’t all just agree to be your allies,” said Kylie. “And I’m not just saying that, Vlad, honestly - there are some seriously nasty ghosts in there. They will get out of control. I mean, God, there are probably enough to fill the entire Ghost Zone! And what will you do when they start to cause problems?”
was this a inside joke on me
plees parden my speling but I'm a littel dislexik and can't tipe whel.
I am behind on psting comments for stories and I apologize. But I thought I'd try to catch up, and I have to say that I like to watch Danny Phantom and Jimmy Neutron, at first I only watched Danny in curiosity, it seemed to me to be a blatent retooling of the ghostbusters concept, and then as I watched a few more eps I realized that while some elements are similar it is definately its own show and I had often wondered about a cross over myself, But I had been thinking that the EGBs saw the show on tv and called it a rip off. This story, however, is much more creative. Dimensional plane jumping is always fun. I don't know how Kylie and Eduardo find anythin in that overcrowded junky basement, let alone a portal, lol.
While I was reading this I had no trouble invisioning both cartoon worlds, I think it was much more entertaining than the Jimmy Neutron/Fairly Odd parent monstrosity that was brough to the small screen, I would rather have watched this, lol.
Yay, another DP fan! Or is fan a bit strong? I admit, I wasn't expecting many people to read this, and I was expecting almost no one to read it and be familiar with both cartoons. But Jason, my brother (who kindly beta read) and you make three - more than I expected.
Thank you so much for your generous comments!
Am I planning any more crossovers? Not right now. I don't write them very often - there was this, and the Point Pleasant crossover a couple of years ago, and Candyman way back when I started... so I guess by that logic I'm not really due another one for a couple more years. I admit I was mulling over possibilities for a show that I loved as a kid and gave to my brother on DVD on his birthday for not entirely selfless reasons, but it's about a vegetarian vampire duck so I don't think it would really work.
