Hmmmm. Why is it that neither of the twins wears glasses? ghostdiva I have drawn some pictures of Eden in glasses, though I don't think I've posted any. And there was this passage in Part 2 of Gemini Rising... As for John, I just never drew a picture of him in glasses I liked, so I figure that maybe he just won some throw of the genetic dice and doesn't have to. It happens. In Real Life, my Mom is practically blind without her glasses. My Dad wears them too, but his eyesight is not nearly as bad. I have a slight astygmatism, but my actual vision is pretty much 20/20--I really only "have" to wear them to drive. Al on the other hand is the same as Mom--he's blind without them. One of the last two brothers is somewhere in between me and Al, while the last one has normal vision and doesn't have to wear glasses at all. So I figure Eden's sorta like me, John's the one that doesn't need them at all.

You know, I never thought of that. Glasses are such a part of Egon's character (and Janine's too), yet I never questioned the lack of them on the kids.

Now that you mention it. I DO remember reading that. What happened last night was that I couldn't remember, and I went to check the pictures for quick reference. But They don't have glasses in the pictures, as you've said. Anyway, I just wanted to check, didn't know if you had decided that in the future teens get free lasik surgery or something. And I don't think the comment about the dragon was too left field, I did mention the kids in the last post, but I think that the story of the dragon would be something that Egon and Janine had elected not to tell their kids, and they wouldn't know about it until they were old enough to look things up in the database, at which time they probably wouldn't be as interested. That is one of my fav eps though, because it is the first time that we can sense that Egon might like to be called Daddy. ghostdiva

Eden calls him Father, which fits her personality, as she's a lot more like him than her brother, who strikes me as all Melnitz, with a slight Spengler streak thrown in. I think he was the one doing the kicking in GR pt.1!

That is so true. Eden does take after Egon with a little of Janine thrown in. She does have some of her mom in her, too. John is just a just a wild thing like his mom and he also got some of his dad too.

In the marriage of a man with brown hair and a woman with blonde hair, two of the children are likely to inherit a mixture of brown and blonde, while one would be closer to brown and one would be closer to blonde. Something like that... anyway...

Ghostbusters West Coast: Word To Your Mummy is done and in the hands of the beta staff. It is planned for an October 9 release.
The next story will definitely either be Gemini Rising, Part Seven or Ghostbusters West Coast: Flipped Out. Which one will depend on how my writing goes over the next week or two--I have a specific released date, October 31, in mind for Flipped Out, which could mean GR 7 goes by the wayside. Due to the two-week beta interval, Flipped Out will have to be done by October 17.

Done:
Ghostbusters West Coast: Flipped Out Will be out October 31st, making it my first actual Halloween story.
Next up will be, finally, Gemini Rising, Part Seven...and I'm almost as nervous about this one as I was "Forever." It will probably be the last story I put out in 2006.

I've been encouraged to take a bit of a break from the story writing. Recharge the batteries over the holidays, as it were. That's not to say I won't write anything, but without the "ohmygosh*t'sbeentwowholeweekssinceiputsomethingout" stress it'll be easier.
