It's time to see if all my work is going to pay off.

Tomorrow morning, Friday, August 24, 2007, will be the official opening of the all-new Ectozone message board, fully hosted at the Ectozone.com domain instead of remote hosted, as this one is.

Proboards has been very good to me. It's definitely the best remote-host board service on the Internet, in my opinion. But as anybody who's been here a while knows, I try to stretch myself from time to time, and trying to install and manage my own board is one of those stretches.

I will put this board into Maintenance Mode at that time, with a link to the new digs in the News Fader bar. After a day or two, once I get this board disabled to new posts (I have to shut off the feature at each individual board) it will be reopened as an archive. New registrations to this board have already been suspended.

I thank everyone for their patience, and look forward to an exciting future.

That's "Xtreme Fritz", inspired by a picture Nightsquad did. He embodies every Nineties cliché: scowl, big gun, big shoulder pads, cybernetic limb. I promise he has lots of pouches, you just can't see them behind his arm and big gun.

Chelsea Aberdeen fits the Nineties Bad Girl clichés. Thigh boots with high heels, bare midriff, peep hole over her huge breasts. (Hm..actually, most of those are still clichés today...) I realize I did make one error--she should have had bulky armored gloves so that the poor girl didn't go out and fight villains completely unprotected [/sarcasm]

And Otter. Because you can't be "Xtreme" without a vicious dwarf sporting cutlery on his hands.

This is just a little fluffy romance story. Enjoy!

Title: I Love You

Note: This is a early romance fic before CJ and Jules
were born. This is when Ray and Elaine were newlyweds.

One day at the local skating rink, Ray and Elaine were
enjoying their time together. Tonight was 'Married Couples Night'.

They been married for 2 months.

They had been skating for a while and decided to leave the floor to take a short break to get something to eat from the food stand.

Ray and Elaine sat down in the second booth with their food and started to eat.

"Isn't this wonderful, darling?" Elaine asked, reaching and taking Ray's hand into her hand.

Ray smiled at her and squeezed her hand, "Yes, it is,sweetheart. I waited all day to take you skating. I know how much you love it.".

Elaine looked pleased as she went over to give Ray a kiss on his cheek.

Soon as they finshed cleaning up, they skated back over to the rink.

When entering, Elaine slipped and almost fell on her back, "AHHH!" She shrieked but Ray caught her just in time.

"Are you okay, Elaine?" Ray asked in concern, holding her in his arms.

Elaine nodded her head as she looked into Ray's brown eyes, "My hero." She cooed softly to her husband.

Then she began planting kisses on Ray's face that caused him to start blushing furiously.

Once Ray got it together, he then took Elaine into his arms. As they looked into each other's eyes lovingly; Elaine said,

"I love you, Ray."

"I love you too, Elaine." Ray replied.

The End
